Just bought some local strawberries - they are small and very sweet and good. I've been eating the leaves on 'em because I am lazy. Is this okay?

I would mostly be concerned with the pesticide residue more than anything if they are not of the CERTIFIED ORGANIC variety.

Of all the foods to buy organically, strawberries would be in my top ten.

They are locally grown and organic Fish. Thank You. It's funny because they are tiny compared to the California variety. About the size of a thimble.:103631605 But much more taste than the big ones.

That's an acquired taste - when I lived in the US I used to cut the leaves off!:puppy:

Eating the leaves couldn't have tasted too well. Did it?

The strawberries are so small that their leaves are even smaller - I really didn't even notice the leaves affecting the great sabor of the berries! P.S. I never seen the strawberries so small and tasty - homegrown in Quebec. Wish I could send your brother's platoon a case - better yet, I wish I could send all the GI's HOME to the States where they belong! Good Luck HOW - I pray for your Brother and ALL the troops and civilians everyday.
